There’s a real buzz to Hong Kong and a host of amazing attractions for visitors. Go to The Peak for stunning views across Hong Kong and take the classic Star Ferry out onto Hong Kong Harbor. Take a tram ride round Hong Kong to see the diverse community. At night the light show. “A Symphony of Lights” features the harbor buildings as a backdrop.

The Western Market is an Edwardian building selling arts, crafts and fabrics, and Lan Kwai Fong is a labyrinth of restaurants and delicatessens with interesting oriental food to try with some obscure delicacies and local cuisine. Go and watch horse racing at Happy Valley or take a trip to Aberdeen and look at the Junk community crammed into the harbor.

With many Chinese temples in Hong Kong a visit to Sha Tin Che Kung Temple is an opportunity to observe tradition. The Hong Kong Space Museum and Science Museum have a number of interesting exhibits and Madame Tussauds will delight most visitors. Visit the Hong Kong Geopark with its diverse ecosystems, walking trails and bird watching opportunities. For some travel further afield take a trip into Kowloon and see the Jade Market and the temple Street Night Market, and try Tai Chi in the parks.
